The bigger hub spacing of the Boost standard and the resulting flatter spoke angle allows building a stiffer wheel.This is a big advantage especially for 29er wheels.Weight Weenies will have a lot of joy with this noble piece! A Smart Construction and superlight high quality components are making the Fun Works N-Light Boost to the perfect Lightweight hub for Cross Country usage.
 
Maximum stiffness at low weight with AsymSmart Technologie!
 
AsymSmart combines the advantages of a symmetrical with the advantages of an asymmetrical rim profile.
 
Conventional asymmetrical rim profiles offer the advantage that you can build a wheel with almost even tension on the drive and non-drive side to get a more robust overall wheel. The disadvantage is that the rim has two sides of different lengths, whereby the longer side is usually much more susceptible to damage when it comes to impacts on the rim profile.AsymSmart on the other hand, has a rim profile with sides of the same length as a symmetrical rim and only the nipple holes are off-center, which means that the rim has the same impact resistance as a normal symmetrical rim but still offers the advantage of tensioning the wheel more evenly and thus to be able to build stiffer and more robust wheels.The new Atmosphere XL has also 3mm more inner width than the previous model and offers perfect performance for XC and Trail bikes.The tubeless ready design allows an easy tubeless setup and ensures the perfect fit of the tire.
