The Fun Works Turbo Carbon GX 3249 is the ideal wheelset for those who demand speed, grip,

Gravel racing has become faster than ever thanks to improved materials and increasing professionalism.

At average speeds of 35 km/h and above, aerodynamics plays an increasingly important role.

Typical gravel tires range between 38 and 50 mm in width. Conventional rims with narrow outer widths often result in an aerodynamically unfavorable "lightbulb shape." The Fun Works Turbo Carbon GX 3249 wheels address this with a 39 mm outer width and a 49 mm rim profile height. This rim profile, combined with the right tire, creates an aerodynamically efficient wing shape with a nearly seamless transition between tire and rim - similar to modern road racing wheels.The 32 mm internal rim width allows the use of tubeless tires at low pressures without risk of tire roll-off in fast corners. This provides more grip, less vibration, and therefore more speed on rough terrain - while offering greater comfort and reduced fatigue on long rides. Despite its generous dimensions, the GX 3249 wheelset weighs only 1390 grams, making it well-suited for hilly courses as well.

Fun Works Turbo Hubs - Robust and Reliable

The Turbo hubs feature increased bearing spacing and improved stiffness for longer bearing life. The stabilized axle reduces flex and protects the bearings.The innovative CSPS (Coil Spring Pawl System) uses six robust 5 mm pawls for maximum reliability. Coil springs ensure optimal pressure on the reinforced ratchet ring, which withstands high loads. With 96 engagement points and a minimal engagement angle of 3.75 degrees, the freehub guarantees fast power transfer with low wear - for quick and responsive acceleration.Newly designed end caps with integrated grooves make hub disassembly and maintenance significantly easier.
