The Fun Works Turbo NoTubes ZTR Arch MK4 wheelset is an excellent choice for riders looking for performance and versatility, ensuring they are well-equipped for exciting descents as well as long, challenging tours.
 
Specifications of the Hubs
 
Reinforced Hub Body
The hub body has been forged for higher stiffness and durability before being CNC machined. The hub flanges have been reinforced and angled inwards to match the spoke angle. With a double-cross spoke configuration, the outward-positioned spokes are at the flange and are not bent over the flange as much as they would be with straight flanges. This significantly minimizes "settling" of the spokes, thus reducing forces at the flange.
 
Increased Bearing Lifespan
The Turbo hubs feature an increased bearing spacing and improved stiffness. The extended spacing stabilizes the axle, reduces deflection, and protects the bearings, thereby extending their lifespan.
 
Maximum Reliability
The CSPS (Coil Spring Pawl System) offers outstanding reliability. The freehub uses six robust, oversized pawls with a diameter of 5 mm, which are pushed outward by coil springs to create optimal pressure on the ratchet ring. The reinforced ratchet ring is designed to withstand high pressure and provide a long lifespan.
 
Faster Engagement of the Ratchet Pawls and Reduced Wear
The freehub with six staggered ratchet pawls ensures that three pawls engage simultaneously. This allows for a total of 96 engagement points, ensuring optimal power and speed transfer. The resulting minimal engagement angle of just 3.75 degrees achieves the ideal balance between responsiveness and low friction, resulting in turbo-fast acceleration.
 
Built-in Notch in the End Caps
The newly designed end caps feature an integrated notch, significantly simplifying disassembly and maintenance of the hubs.
 
Easy Compatibility with Various Axle and Freehub Systems
The end caps and freehub can be easily swapped without special tools by simply pulling them off, providing high compatibility with various axle and freehub systems.
 
Specifications of the Rims
 
Since the development of the first Arch rim, which helped introduce tubeless technology to the world, mountain bikes have evolved significantly. With a 28 mm wide asymmetrical rim profile and an ultra-strong 6069 alloy, the new Arch MK4 rim has developed further to meet the demands of these more powerful bikes. Throughout the years of testing and refining this rim, one thing has never changed: versatility. If you are looking for a reliable rim that can handle any trail, the Arch MK4 is more suitable than ever. The Arch MK4 rim is light enough for XC racing, yet it was born from research and testing on the Enduro World Series racecourse, making it a fantastic rim for anyone wanting to improve both downhill and uphill performance. Made from a lightweight and durable 6069 aluminum alloy, with a reinforced rim bed and 28mm inner width, the Arch MK4 helps you climb easier and descend faster! The asymmetrical BST shape of the Arch MK4 improves the spoke angle and allows for a stiffer wheel. Stans' patented Bead Socket Technology, combined with a stronger asymmetrical design, a lightweight and durable 6069 alloy, and the perfect rim width for a balanced ratio of stability and weight, make the Arch MK4 the best choice for all-around riding. The wheelset is built with DT Swiss Comp Race quality spokes,providing excellent durability and top weight.
